Sculpture Within: Garden and Community 5/30 - 10/22
Carol will have 3 large outdoor sculpture groups exhibited at Sierra Azul Nursery and Gardens, 2660 East Lake Ave, Watsonville, CA, in south Santa Cruz County. Her works on display include “Calla Quartet,” “Brown Pod Group,” and “Ten Tall Tubes.”A reception will be held Saturday, June 14 from 4 to 7 pm.
Forty-six area artists are showing 82 contemporary sculptures on two acres of landscaped display gardens. Now in its third year, the sculpture exhibit runs until October 22. Open daily from 9 am to 5:30 pm, the nursery is located off Highway 152, across from the County Fairgrounds. The nursery specializes in Mediterannean climate and drought-tolerant plants.

Carol demonstrates the process of adding coils to a large vessel. She uses a paddle-and-anvil technique to refine the shape and add texture.
